Papers, 1962-1985.

The collection contains the papers of Chester, and was gathered as part of the Black Women in the Middle West Project. The papers span a period from 1962 to 1985, and include letters, clippings, award certificates, poems, church newsletters and bulletins, and materials concerning the Indiana Education Association and the Indiana State Teachers Association. Also included are the papers of Julia Davis, a social worker with the Indiana Department of Public Welfare. These papers contain letters, job evaluations, and certificates. Photographs are stored in Visual Collections.
